Katie Lamb Gilding Restoration is based in Long Crendon, near Thame, on the Bucks/Oxon border. The workshop is ideally situated close to the M40 and M1, with easy access to London, the Cotswolds and the Midlands.

With over 20 years experience, we offer a complete restoration service for gilded and painted decorative items. Although specialising in oil and water gilding, Katie Lamb Gilding Restoration sympathetically restores and conserves not only gilded surfaces, but also papier mâché, lacquerware, verre églomisé and leather screens. Working closely with other restorers and conservators, we offer affiliated services such as furniture restoration, wood carving, and oil painting and paper conservation.

We undertake accidental, fire and flood damaged insurance work, interior architectural gilding and on site restoration for larger decorative items. Collection and delivery can be arranged through our regular fine art carrier. The premises are secure and alarmed.
